Starting tonight, ArtsQuest will host the second annual blues festival at the Steel Stacks in Bethlehem, Friday to Sunday, with 25 acts giving 35 performances on three stages. ArtsQuest Vice President of Programming Patrick Brogan says the festival will offer “the full scope of diversity…from guitar pickers to slammin’ blues to zydeco.”
Blues artists in attendance include James Cotton, Lil’Ed and the Blues Imperials, Marcia Ball, Smokin’ Joe Kubek & B’nois King, Alexis P. Suter Band, Nathan & the Zydeco Cha Chas, Sugar Ray & the Bluetones, CJ Chenier & the Red Hot Louisiana Band, and 15 more great blues artists.
Tickets range from $29 (in advance) to $49, while full festival passes are available for $79.
