Gypsy Dances, Celtic Music, and Medieval Creations in Gilbertsville Saturday

Who would have expected to find a “Renaissance Fair and Craft Bazaar” at Zerns Farmers Market in Gilbertsville?

On Saturday, January 12th, 2013 Zerns Farmers Market in Gilbertsville, PA will host the 2nd Annual Frozen Fantasy Fair & Craft Bazaar from 10 am to 8 pm.

Suffiyah of Dancers Oasis will dance a dance of the gypsies and teach a step or two to those who care to kick up their heels. Jack and Brenda will perform Celtic music with guitars, flutes, recorders and tambourines. Other musical entertainment will be provided as well as SoundTrax Djs.

The Frozen Fantasy Fair will offer an assortment of medieval creations, from jewelry, masks, wands, pixie dust, armor, and pirate novelties to custom made clothing, and large sized fairy, butterfly, and bat wings. Visitors can purchase a Viking drinking horn to wash down a delicious apricot almond cookie made by The InFamous Welsh Cookie Company.

I wish I could go check this out – maybe I can dash over after work and before seeing Lincoln at the movies tonight? Anyone who does go over is asked to PLEASE post your impressions (and/or photos) in the comments section here. I know I’d love to hear about it.
