Contemplative Photography – Saturday, March 16th workshop

Quiet Day: Contemplative Photography; Picture-taking as a Spiritual Practice

Beginning at 10 a.m and ending at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013, this quiet day is intended to explore photography as a contemplative practice;

This Lenten quiet day will explore photography…as a way of deepening our awareness of the presence of the Creator in the beauty of the world around us. The day will include taking pictures, reflecting on what these images might be saying to us, and sharing the results with the group.

No particular photographic skill is required. Bring the equipment you feel comfortable using: a camera and laptop are good if you have them, but even a cell phone camera will be fine. Bring your own lunch; drinks will be provided.

This day will take place at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 2871 Barndt Road, Harleysville, PA . Please register online or email Rev. Catherine Kerr at revkerr@churchoftheholyspirit.com  FREE
