Larry Coryell has been described by The New Yorker as “the most innovative and original guitarist since Charlie Christian.” Beginning with his first recordings with Chico Hamilton and his tenure with the Gary Burton Quartet, Larry has remained in the pantheon of great jazz guitarists for more than 40 years.
Don’t miss the free Jazz and Joe concert with Alan Segal Quartet in Harleysville at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 2871 Barndt Road (Rt 63 and Barndt Rd) on Thursday, April 11th. A free will offering is accepted for this concert held from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Refreshments, tables and tea lights, great ambiance, friendly people, and great music will have you wondering why you’ve missed this all these months.

The 2013 lineup opens with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band on May 9th (tickets $39 and $54) followed by Dan DeChellis Trio on May 12th (FREE at 5 pm) and The Girls: featuring Sarah Ayers, Bev Conklin, & Lori Donovan later on May 12th ($20-$25). Additional concerts in the May series include Chick Corea, the Dan Wilkins Duo, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, the Cook Trio, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Heather Friedman, and the Music of Grover Washington, Jr. Some concerts are free, some are ticketed.
