Make Music Upper Perk is this Friday, June 21st!

After months of planning, we are now only days away from the first annual Make Music Upper Perk – an all day celebration of music in our community; all free and all open to the public.

Nearly 100 musicians signed up to play at one (or two, or sometime three!) spots around town. The first scheduled performance of the day is at 9:30 am at Java Good Day Cafe. Music ranging from folk to celtic harp to jazz standards to bluegrass to rock to an outdoor hymn sing (where everyone is invited to join in the singing), played on instruments ranging from piano to violin to flute to hammered dulcimer to….you get the idea; something for everyone.

Everything is free and open to the public (okay, I already said that, but it bears repeating).

And feel free to make music wherever you are, including your front porch.

Make Music Upper Perk  is a free event organized by volunteers, co-sponsored by ValleyArtScene and FAME (Families Advancing Music Education).

Full schedule for the day, from 9:30 am – 10 pm.
