Think you know the classic story of Robin Hood? Think again. This original adaptation puts a modern spin on the classic swashbuckling adventure. The Sheriff is mistreating the people of Nottingham, and it’s up to Robin Hood and his Merry Men to save the day. But Maid Marian wants to join the fight, and the Sheriff has problems of his own, raising a headstrong teenage daughter. Combining action, romance and original music, Robin Hood will delight and amuse all ages. Join us for this fun and lively world premiere, from the author of Fairy Tale High School, Bill D’Agostino.

The musical Spring Awakening opened last weekend at the Civic Theater of Allentown and runs through Sunday, October 27th. Buy tickets online.

Based on the play by Frank Wedekind and Winner of 8 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, “Spring Awakening” is a landmark rock musical adaptation of Frank Wedekind’s 1891 expressionist play about the trials and tribulations, and the exhilaration of the teen years. A tale of morality, sexuality and rock & roll co-exist in this exhilarating musical about a group of 19th Century German students trying to navigate the journey from adolescence to adulthood. As their self-discovery is met with resistance by the adults in power, these schoolmates turn toward one another and away from a repressive adult society only to be tragically and irrevocably changed by their relationships.

PLEASE NOTE:  “Spring Awakening” is for mature audiences ONLY. It contains very mature themes, strong contemporary language, sexual situations and nudity.
