The 22nd Annual Greater Philadelphia Mid-Winter Scottish & Irish Music Festival and Fair is at the Convention Center at the Valley Forge Casino Resort in King of Prussia. The Friday night concert on February 14, 2014 starts at 8 p.m. until midnight. On Saturday, February 15, there will be two to four stages (depending on the time) with performances ranging from the MacLeod Fiddlers to the Campbell Highland Dancers to Hadrian’s Wall to the Bogside Rogues, and much more, from 10 a.m. until midnight. More music on the the stages will take place on Sunday, February 16th from 10:45 a.m. to 5 p.m.
You can also take a Scottish Step Dance Class, try some Ceilidh Dancing, stop by the Scots and/or Irish language workshop, among other fun seminars and workshops. And don’t forget the craft, jewelry, tartan, cd, and food vendors. Tickets are $18 Friday; $30, Saturday, and $25 Sunday; free for those under 12. Doors open at 6:30 on Friday, 9:30 a.m., on Saturday, and 10 a.m on Sunday.
