If you want to hear more music after that, or are having a late dinner and can’t get out until later, drive over to VIP Taproom at 841 Broadway, Fountain Hill (Bethlehem) to hear Upper Perk local (and another MMUP musician) Tom Cooney play a full hour at Phil Stahl’s open mic night beginning at 9 p.m. ; Tom plays a mix of original, rock, blues, jazz, and folk.
For something completely different, but requiring quite a lot of creativity, check out the annual Zucchini 500 at the Easton Farmers Market on Saturday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. The race, pitting racers who’ve carved cars out of zucchini, is open to all ages.
