If you haven’t looked at the Festivals page, then you might not know that Oktoberfest in Boyertown begins on Friday night, September 19th (and continues through Saturday, September 20th), while the one day Oktoberfest up the road at Bear Creek takes place on Sunday, September 21, 2014. Check out future festivals if you don’t want to miss the Bethlehem Celtic Festival at the end of the month, among others.
If you haven’t looked at the Theater page, then you might not know that this is the final weekend to see Unnecessary Farce at DCP Theater in Telford and Souvenir in Souderton at Montgomery Theater. Upcoming shows that you’ll want to read about include I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, and Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein.
If you haven’t looked at the Music page, then you might not know that Roy Book Binder is playing the blues tonight, Friday, September 19th, at Landhaven on Huff’s Church Road in Barto. You can read about a chance to hear more blues in October, along with some upcoming jazz concerts.
If you haven’t looked at the Art page, then you might have forgotten that this is the final weekend to see Viewpoints, a two person art show exhibiting original works by Bradley Hendershot and Katherine Krieg, at Historic Yellow Springs. Both artists will be on site painting and chatting with visitors on Saturday (10 a.m – 4 p.m.)and Sunday (noon – 4 p.m.), September 20 and 21, 2014. Historic Yellow Springs is located a short distance off Route 113 in the village of Chester Springs, between Phoenixville and Downingtown, Pennsylvania. Map and directions can be found here.
