961a4ec4-2a31-4c1a-b56c-dd2d94fe6996While Taylor Backes Gallery and  glass studio has been around for quite some time, I was astounded to discover them in Boyertown just last year. And now is the time for you to stop by for their 1st Annual Glass Harvest beginning on Thursday, October 30 through November 1, 2014.Not only will you see hand blown glass pumpkins, acorns, fruit, and flowers, amidst many other small and large (and museum quality) creations, but during the course of this festival you have the opportunity to make your own glass blown pumpkin ($80) over the course of one hour (anytime)!

Come in for a glass of fresh apple cider, or locally produced beverages, Enjoy a slice of freshly baked pie, and peruse our galleries. You may also be interested in our “Make Your Own” Pumpkin experience. Work with our professional glass blowers as they help you master the production of your very own pumpkin.

Other Farm Brewing and Cidery will host a tasting of beer and cider on Saturday Nov. 1 from 10:00 until 5:00.  On Thurs and Friday there will be samples of their fine cider available.
