Emmaus Public Library (11 E. Main Street) is holding their 8th Annual Holiday Book Sale and Reception Friday evening, December 5th, from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. In addition to gently used books “in gift-worthy condition,” the Emma’s High School instrumental ensemble will be on hand (rumor has it they’ll be playing some jazz, in addition to seasonal music), and one can sample refreshments including wine, cheese, and punch while listening to the music and browsing the books.
Over at the Quakertown Train Station (15 Front Street), the Women’s Club of Quakertown is sponsoring a holiday craft show Friday from 4 – 8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 6th, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Marlborough Elementary School (1450 Gravel Pike, Green Lane) hold their annual Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 6th, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. This is always a great place to find gifts, crafts, and decorations by local crafters (and the bake sale is generally pretty tasty as well).
