Last Open Mic at Java Good Day Cafe – tonight, Friday, January 9, 2015

Tom Cooney is hosting (and playing, we hope) the last Open Mic at Java Good Day Cafe  (231 Main Street, East Greenville), beginning at 7 p.m. tonight, Friday, January 9, 2015.

Sign ups start at 6:30, the performances are from 7 – 10 and the kitchen is open til 9!!!! As always, original songs and spoken word, and live collaboration, welcome! PEACE!

Thank the good folks at Java Good Day Cafe for hosting First Friday Open Mic for 2 and a half years by turning out tonight to support the singers, musicians, poets, writers, performers, baristas, and others who made these evenings possible. And if you always wanted to take a turn but hesitated to sign up, this is your last chance (at least for a while), so find a poem, a song, a harmonica, something, and take the stage. It will be a good night for community, and for some of Java’s homemade soup, hot tea, espresso, and hot chocolate.

And make a point to look at all the new art gracing the walls, while you are there.
