Last Chance for Jazz & Joe before Spring!

Singer Rosemary Benson will be joining the band this Thursday, February 12, 2015, at the Jazz & Joe concert, at the Church of the Holy Spirit (Route 63 and Barndt Road) in Harleysville. This free event, featuring jazz standards, begins at 7 p.m. and continues until 9 p.m. Don’t worry if you can’t be there when it starts, there is always plenty of seating and people have been known to come in throughout the evening. Refreshments are served – often homemade baked goods, along with coffee, tea, and wine – and there is even a small dance area if you feel moved to move.  Everyone is welcome to attend. There is a basket at the door for voluntary donations that will go towards the church’s music program.

Jazz & Joe takes place on the 2nd Thursday of most months at Church of the Holy Spirit, but they will NOT be in house in March. Their next concert in Harleysville will be on April 9, 2015.

If one jazz concert this month isn’t enough, there might still be a few tickets left for  Jazz Night at the Michener MuseumSaturday, February 28, 2015; 8-11 p.m. This event includes a chance to see the art galleries, enjoy hearty appetizers and desserts, and performances by Noah Preminger, a Brooklyn-based saxophone phenom, who will be accompanied by an all-star rhythm section with world-renowned musicians.

Hmmmmm, fyi, the top of this message you sent had a pink bar that said it might be a “phishing message”. I clicked safe sender so I won’t get that in the future, but I wonder if anyone else got that? I just don’t want your stuff to not get through to people.
