Allentown Shakespeare in the Park will stage The Comedy of Errors five times this weekend; all performances free at Daddona Park (Union Terrace Park) Union and St. Elmo Streets, Allentown. Local musicians will play an hour before each show. Audience members are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs, and their own refreshments. The play begins at 8 p.m. on Friday, August 14th, and at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 15 and Sunday, August 16, 2015. Also, if you get hungry, but forget to pack a picnic, the Täza Truck will be selling its delicious modern Egyptian cuisine at Allentown Shakespeare in the Park at the evening performance on Friday, August 14 and at both matinee and evening performances on Sunday, August 16.

The Pint-Sized Pirate is the latest theatrical offering at McCoole’s Arts and Events Place, 105 Main Street, Quakertown, opening tonight, Friday, August 14th. This family show has a five performance run, this weekend only; 7 p.m. on Friday; 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 15 and Sunday August 16, 2015.
