Still trying to decide how to spend this Friday night?

It’s the First Friday in September, which means many towns nearby have special art gallery openings, live music in the galleries and in the streets, and other fun activities going on tonight; think the Banana Factory in South Side Bethlehem,  Skippack, and, of course, Philadelphia.

My first choice for tonight is the Celtic Music Session open to musicians and singers of all abilities, but featuring Upper Perk’s own professional Irish singer and musician Terry Kane, at McCarthy’s Red Stag Pub (534 Main Street, Bethlehem, PA) from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. While there, you can try some amazing food (I hear mussels are on the menu for tonight), and did I mention this is a pub?
