Perkiomen Valley Arts Center Offers Series of Free Art Programs

Beginning on Wednesday evening, September 16, 2015, the Perkiomen Valley Arts Center in Harleysville (at Encore Experiences, formally Harleysville Senior Center; 312 Alumni Drive, Harleysville) is offering a free monthly series of educational programs on the arts, free and open to the public.

The first program in this series begins at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow night:

Local artist and award winning illustrator, Gary Phillips, will discuss making the transition from illustrator to plein air artist. Gary has been a freelance illustrator for over 30 years with a Fine Arts degree from Kutztown University in Communication Design. Gary has illustrated many children’s books and magazines. He continues to hone his artistic skills by studying classical figure drawing as well as painting plein air landscapes that sell to collectors throughout the country.

Nice, and as always, thanks for the info.

You recognized that this is the person who designed our MMUP map, right? I saw he is also on the signboard at the Frame Shop too.
