featuring fine and unusual pottery, jewelry, fiber, dried flowers, fraktur, tinware, baskets, folk art, theorem, quilts, appliqués, furniture, painted scissor cuttings, ceramics, scherenschnitte, embroidery, children’s clothing, dolls, rug weaving, decoys, calligraphy, leather, band boxes, iron work, toys, wood carvings, wooden spoons, and much more.

If, after all this, you’d like a chance to try your hand at making some crafts yourself, head over to Green Lane Park for their Holiday Craft Workshop on Saturday, November 21st at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.; at 10 a.m. the workshoppers will make a “holiday wall hanging” out of local cones, nuts and seed pods, and at 1 p.m. the same items will be used to make a “winsome woodland critter” for tabletop or tree decoration. People ages 12 and over  may sign up for one or both workshops, but pre-registration is required – call 215-234-4528 to register. The events will take place at the Stone Pavilion at Green Lane Park, 2144 Snyder Road, Green Lane, PA, where there will be a wood fire going in the fireplace and light refreshments provided. There is an $8 fee for each workshop and participants are asked to bring a hot glue gun.

Der Belsnickel Craft Show is also a juried craft show, and will be held on Friday, November 27 from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday, November 28th from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Boyertown Jr High Complex, 380 South Madison Streets, Boyertown, PA.

Marlborough Elementary School’s annual Holiday Bazaar takes place on the first Saturday in December, Dec. 3, 2015, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at 1450 Gravel Pike, Green Lane, PA.

On the second Saturday in December, Dec. 12, 2015, head over to Sumneytown to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3104 Main Street, for their annual Christmas Bazaar from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

And for the last weekend before Christmas, December 19th and 20th, if you aren’t in line to see the newest Star Wars movie or planning your winter solstice celebration, it is your last chance to head over to Bethlehem for the Weinachtsmarkt and the Christkindlmarkt for 2015 (did I mention they have gluhwein – German mulled wine – there?)

And for those wondering what happened to the Upper Perk Baconfest, which has been held in November the last few years, it has been moved to Spring 2016.
