Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate music in our community last Tuesday, June 21st, at Make Music Upper Perk. The skies stayed blue, the audiences were great, and the music was fantastic, resounding all over the Valley.
A special thank you to all the musicians who gave of their time and their talent, all the volunteers who worked behind the scenes (and sometimes in front, in the case of site hosts) without whom this event couldn’t have happened or run nearly so smoothly, and to all the generous folks who provided performance space free of charge.
We also want you to know that we had two roaming photographers this year, Kristi Morris of Littlewing Studio in Pennsburg, and Art Olsen. You can see Kristi’s photos online.
We will let you know when and where you can see the photographs Art Olsen took on Tuesday.
There are also short videos and other photographs taken during the day posted on the Make Music Upper Perk Facebook page. This week’s Town and Country has a multi-page article about the event, and including many photos. Additional photos and the like will continue to be posted on our Facebook page and on ValleyArtScene.wordpress.com – you can also follow us on Twitter @MakeMusicUP
We encourage you to share any all photos and videos of the day’s event with us, on Facebook, or by getting them to us so that we can post them on ValleyArtScene and/or on Facebook. Please let us know if you have posted anything MMUP related on your website or Facebook page, so that we might link to it.
