Starting tonight (okay, it started last night, but I’ve been busy), Thursday, July 14, 2016, through Saturday, July 15, 2016, at you can sit outside and enjoy free live musical performances at East Greenville Fire Company’s Carnival. The Carnival (401 Washington Street, East Greenville – parking in B&H parking lot across the street) is held from 6 p.m .- 10 p.m., and in addition to music, there are multiple food stands, rides, games, and bingo in the air conditioned Fire House Hall. Proceeds benefit the East Greenville Fire Company.

You can also hear live music at Emmaus’ Bastille Days celebration, which runs from Thursday, July 14th – Saturday, July 15, 2016. In addition to music, there will also be French pastries, naturally, artists working and displaying their work – including painters and jewelry designers; storytime at the children’s bookstore, Let’s Play Books, and on Saturday;
… Paint on Main (217 Main Street, Emmaus, PA) invites visitors to create a community art piece that will be donated to Peaceable Kingdom. Artists will paint 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and two French-themed works will be raffled to benefit charity.
