New and Old Fall Favorites

Just in time for the Halloween season (you did know that Halloween is now more than one day, right?) Civic Theatre in Allentown stages Carrie, The Musical,  opening this weekend and playing through October 23, 2016.

Based on Stephen King’s bestselling novel, Carrie is the gripping tale of an awkward teen outcast with a powerful gift, her fanatically religious mother, and the classmates who push Carrie from unimaginable humiliation to devastating fury. This is a reworked version of the infamous Broadway show from 1988 with an eclectic score and the wild moments from the film made fresh onstage at Civic.

Civic Theater is located at 19th Street, Allentown, PA. Tickets may be bought online, at the box office, and over the phone, (610) 432-8943.
