March Musicals (and maybe a comedy or two) (and a drama)

Theater season is in full swing at area high schools, and local community theaters have a few shows on their stages this March, as well. It’s  always a good idea to buy tickets in advance (so check out the theater page regularly for upcoming performances) but that doesn’t mean that you might not be able to get tickets a few hours before the curtain rises, just by showing up.

Stuart Little, Mass Appeal, and Nice Work If You Can Get It, are all on stage in our area this weekend, at DCP Theater in Telford, Montgomery Theater in Souderton, and Saucon Valley High School, respectively. More info on shows and tickets here.

And don’t forget to get your tickets for Beauty and the Beast; March 9 – 12, 2017 at the Upper Perkiomen High School!

This stage musical, based on the Disney animated feature and Broadway show, is this year’s Upper Perkiomen High School theater production. Tickets are for select seats (no general admission seating this year!), with special pricing for students and children at select shows (Thursday night is “Student Night;” with $5 tickets for students, Sunday afternoon is the “Children’s Show;” with $5 tickets for children 14 and under). Tickets may be purchased in advance online, or at the door on the day of the performance. The auditorium opens a half hour before curtain. Show time is 7 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night, and 2 p.m on Sunday. UPHS, 2 Walt Road, Pennsburg, PA.
