Knitting News for MMUP!

The rumors are true – Make Music Upper Perk volunteers are busy knitting and crocheting for a special yarn art project to be unveiled the week of June 21st; one more way we’ll be celebrating the 5th year of Make Music Upper Perk in our community!

It’s not too late to be part of this project. And if you aren’t confident in your yarnwork skills (or have no skills currently), don’t fear; just attend a workshop at the public library!

Pottstown Public Library (500 E. High Street, Pottstown, PA)  hosts regular “Crafters” afternoons where individuals will happily share their knowledge – that’s where I learned to knit again, after a decades long break) – and teach beginners how to knit and/or crochet. Just drop in the afternoon of the 2nd or 4th Tuesday of the month (1 p.m. – 3 p.m.) – no signup needed.
