This Wednesday, April 19, 2017, the Upper Perkiomen Library (350 Main Street, Red Hill, PA) is hosting an introduction to ukulele playing; free and open to anyone 16 years of age or older – pre-registration required – from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m. Stop by the library, or call 215-679-2020 to sign up.
Funky Frets Music Store presents this introduction to the ukulele. They’ll be covering topics including chords, tuning, strumming, terminology, helpful accessories, history, buying tips, and maintenance.
There will be loaner ukes to borrow, but feel free to bring your own. Registration is required, and is limited to ages 16+.

If you can’t make it on Wednesday night, you will have another chance to try strumming a ukulele and learn a song or two at this year’s Make Music Upper Perk! Make Music Upper Perk will also be showcasing a talk on how to make ukuleles (From Logs to Ukes), and featuring some ukulele players at various locations around town.
