Cell Phone Music Video Showcase

When? Wednesday, June 21st at 3pm

Where? The Upper Perk Library

What? A music video reception…featuring your videos!

And now we have added a Maker Workshop as part of this one hour Showcase; our site host Kelly will be giving a short hands on tutorial of how to make a music video on one’s cellphone, and then you can spend the rest of the time making music videos while at the library – either mixing photos and music on your phone, or taking video and adding music – using various apps, etc. We may even  post them later in the week as part of MMUP celebration, if you’d like!

Have you ever found yourself listening to your favorite song and imagining the perfect visuals to go along with it? Amateur director? Lip sync enthusiast? Why not make your own music video!

Wondering how to get started? Here are a few apps that make video creation/editing fun and easy:

iMovie (iOS)
ActionDirector (Android)
Quik (Android/IOS)
Adobe Premiere Clip (Android/IOS)

We’ll showcase your music videos during the Make Music Upper Perk event and invite visitors to vote for their favorite videos…there will be prizes!

We invite you to use your imagination – however this event will be open to the public, so we ask that music and accompanying videos are appropriate in language and content for all ages.

Fill out this registration form, then don’t forget to send us your video! Share the file via Dropbox with mmupvideo@gmail.com or upload your file via your browser at goo.gl/gk2ILD
